Job Profile
- Providing customers with technical and professional advice through a combination of practical experience and casting process simulation
- Assisting customers with the design and optimization of castings and casting processes
- Regular customer visits to provide support and assist with the optimization of casting processes on-site
- Close collaboration with the development department on the conceptual advancement and quality assurance of the software
- Supervision and technical support for ongoing research and development projects
Candidate Profile
- A college degree in foundry engineering, metallurgy, or engineering, with relevant professional experience in the foundry sector
- Alternatively, a completed apprenticeship in foundry technology with relevant continuing education and professional experience
- Several years of professional experience in die casting
- Strong understanding of processes and in-depth knowledge of materials
- Practical knowledge of casting process simulation is desirable
- Experience collaborating with other departments and managing your own projects
- Very good command of German and English
