Job Profile

  • Overall operational leadership and strategic development of the production department
  • Ensuring on-time, high-quality production while balancing cost efficiency, resource utilization and equipment performance
  • Monitoring compliance with all technological specifications, process parameters and laboratory requirements throughout the production process
  • Active participation in new product introductions, customer and certification audits, as well as production-related capital investment projects
  • Leading cross-functional initiatives to reduce scrap rates, improve productivity and drive continuous operational excellence
  • Strategic management of end-to-end material flow, including inventory control, stocktaking and the handling of raw materials, chemicals and hazardous goods
  • Coordinating production planning with internal logistics to ensure timely delivery of finished products
  • Managing workforce deployment, shift schedules and vacation planning in compliance with applicable labour regulations
  • Ensuring compliance with all quality, occupational health and safety, environmental and energy management standards

Candidate Profile

  • University degree in Engineering or a comparable technical qualification, preferably in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Several years of leadership experience in serial production
  • Proven experience in optimizing equipment efficiency, resource utilization, production scheduling and scrap reduction
  • Sound knowledge of quality and environmental management systems, particularly IATF 16949 and ISO 14001
  • Experience in inventory management and controlling complex material flow and warehouse structures
  • Background in managing cross-functional projects, including new product launches and production investments
  • Solid knowledge of workforce planning and shift management
  • Practical experience with Lean Management and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Fluent or native Hungarian language skills (mandatory)
  • Business English fluent  and ideally good German language skills
