Job Profile

  • Acquisition of new customers as well as support and targeted development of existing key accounts
  • Establishing a strategic network, assessing the customer structure, and identifying decision-makers at key accounts
  • Continuous monitoring and analysis of customer, competitor, market, and trend developments
  • Conducting portfolio analyses and ongoing optimization to ensure a balanced customer and product relationship with high value added
  • Screening and identification of the entire value chain of key accounts to create customer value analyses, including analysis of business models
  • Support throughout the entire product cycle, including ongoing order processing, to ensure timely and quality-compliant implementation of customer requirements
  • Planning, organization, and implementation of sales and marketing activities to acquire and retain customers

Candidate Profile

  • Completed degree in engineering, preferably in foundry technology, metallurgy, or materials engineering
  • Alternatively, completed technical training with further training as a technician or master craftsman (all genders) in the field of model making or foundry work, or comparable knowledge
  • Business management knowledge
  • Several years of successful professional experience in technical sales of products requiring explanation in the foundry environment
  • Existing network and good contacts in the relevant business areas
  • Proven track record in acquiring new customers and new projects
  • Experience in customer service and retention as well as in developing modern sales strategies
  • Confident mastery of field sales methodology
  • Good knowledge of contract management and contract negotiation
  • Expertise in product costing
  • Sound IT and PC skills (MS Excel, database systems)
  • Very good German and English skills
