Job Profile

Technical management and organization of the melting operation incl. sand management
Further development and implementation of modern melting and molding technologies with the aim of continuously increasing the efficiency and quality of all production processes
Control and technical monitoring of the melting operation incl. sand management as well as compliance with the highest quality standards, sustainable occupational safety and continuous optimization processes
Analysis and evaluation of internal and external processes to identify and implement potential for change and improvement
Reduction of reject rates and performance of profitability analyses
Planning, implementation and follow-up of optimization measures in coordination with the responsible managers
Responsibility for the internal foundry laboratory, for example sand sampling and metallography
Motivation, management and development of employees (m/f/d) according to the principles of effective leadership

Candidate Profile

Completed engineering studies in the field of foundry technology or comparable knowledge and skills
Alternatively, completed training in the foundry field with corresponding further training as a master craftsman or technician (m/f/d)
Relevant professional experience with production experience in the foundry field, ideally in iron casting
Melting experience in iron casting is an advantage
Strong technical understanding and sound knowledge of the relevant production processes
Proven experience in project management and in the application of modern methods for root cause analysis and process optimization (e.g. lean production, CIP)
Confident handling of MS Office applications and SAP systems
Very good written and spoken English skills for communication in an international environment
Good to very good written and spoken German skills
