Job Profile
- Technical management and organization of the melting operation incl. sand management
- Further development and implementation of modern melting and molding technologies with the aim of continuously increasing the efficiency and quality of all production processes
- Control and technical monitoring of the melting operation incl. sand management as well as compliance with the highest quality standards, sustainable occupational safety and continuous optimization processes
- Analysis and evaluation of internal and external processes to identify and implement potential for change and improvement
- Reduction of reject rates and performance of profitability analyses
- Planning, implementation and follow-up of optimization measures in coordination with the responsible managers
- Responsibility for the internal foundry laboratory, for example sand sampling and metallography
- Motivation, management and development of employees (m/f/d) according to the principles of effective leadership
Candidate Profile
- Completed engineering studies in the field of foundry technology or comparable knowledge and skills
- Alternatively, completed training in the foundry field with corresponding further training as a master craftsman or technician (m/f/d)
- Relevant professional experience with production experience in the foundry field, ideally in iron casting
- Melting experience in iron casting is an advantage
- Strong technical understanding and sound knowledge of the relevant production processes
- Proven experience in project management and in the application of modern methods for root cause analysis and process optimization (e.g. lean production, CIP)
- Confident handling of MS Office applications and SAP systems
- Very good written and spoken English skills for communication in an international environment
- Good to very good written and spoken German skills
