Job Profile

  • Manage and implement projects to improve efficiency in casting processes and adjacent production steps
  • Analyze and resolve quality issues by identifying root causes and initiating appropriate measures
  • Support in new projects, including technical presentations and participation in project meetings
  • Accompany customer visits and provide on-site technical consulting
  • Contribute to optimization measures to improve quality, costs, and casting production processes
  • Independently resolve system malfunctions in cooperation with maintenance or the manufacturer
  • Conduct error analyses, define and implement sustainable solutions for process improvement
  • Advise on planning, procurement, and commissioning of new production equipment
  • Coordinate and communicate between production, project management, and quality departments

Candidate Profile

  • Completed engineering degree, preferably in foundry technology, process engineering, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent knowledge and skills
  • Alternatively, completed comparable vocational training with further qualification as master craftsman or technician (m/f/d)
  • Extensive professional experience in production-related roles within the foundry industry, ideally in aluminum casting
  • In-depth knowledge of casting methods such as low-pressure and/or sand casting
  • Experience in planning, designing, and improving complex manufacturing systems and processes
  • Confident handling of series production workflows and automotive industry requirements, especially sampling and release processes
  • Initial experience in project management
  • Knowledge of X-ray technology is an advantage
  • Familiarity with common quality management methods and tools
  • Proficiency in MS Office and industry-specific IT systems
  • Excellent German skills and good English skills
