Job Profile
- Active participation in the development of new products and supervision of prototypes through to series production
- Design of castings using casting technology, including computer simulation
- Preparation of quotations and creation of work plans
- Organization, planning, and monitoring of customer orders/project management
- Performing post-calculations
- Close cooperation with production, model making, and sales
- Technical advice and support for the sales team in customer contact
Candidate Profile
- Completed engineering degree in the field of foundry technology, metallurgy, or materials engineering
- Alternatively, completed vocational training as a foundry mechanic or technical model maker, or comparable knowledge and skills with further training as a master craftsman/technician.
- Ideally, several years of professional experience in model making and/or work preparation in iron casting
- Experience with casting simulations
- Extensive experience and knowledge of cast iron materials
- Experience in preparing inquiries and orders from a technical and economic perspective
- Expertise in using simulation software and 3D CAD systems
- Confident use of MS Office programs and ERP solutions
- Excellent knowledge of German
