Job Profile

  • Acquisition of new customers as well as strategic support and development of the existing customer base at home and abroad
  • Active identification and generation of tool and mold making projects with existing and potential die casting customers
  • Establishment of long-term, cooperative relationships with decision-makers in engineering, project management, and purchasing
  • Analysis of components and casting processes to derive new tool requirements, tool modifications, and follow-up projects
  • Processing customer inquiries and preparing and consistently following up on quotations
  • Close coordination with design, project management, and production for technical evaluation and quotation preparation
  • Continuous observation and analysis of customer, competitor, market, and technology developments
  • Representing the company at key accounts, project meetings, and trade events (trade fairs)

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or mechanical engineering
  • Alternatively, completed technical vocational training with further training in technology
  • Good knowledge of business administration
  • Several years of professional experience in the sale of products requiring explanation, ideally in the field of die casting
  • Alternatively, production-related professional experience in the foundry environment, preferably in toolmaking
  • In-depth knowledge of mold and toolmaking for die casting and/or injection molding tools
  • Proficient in MS Office and corresponding CR and ERP systems
  • Fluent German and English skills, other languages are an advantage
