Job Profile

  • Expanding market potential by acquiring new customers and new products as well as supporting and developing the existing customer base
  • Comprehensive technical customer consulting including verification of technical feasibility and offer preparation
  • Technical and commercial negotiations with customers as well as preparation and review of contracts
  • Responsibility for the technical, economic, and timely implementation of new projects and changes up to sample approval
  • Compliance with budget, sales, and result targets
  • Continuous monitoring and documentation of customer and market developments
  • Leadership, motivation, and management of employees (m/f/d) according to effective leadership principles

Candidate Profile

  • Completed studies in engineering, ideally with a focus on foundry technology or mechanical engineering
  • Alternatively, completed technical vocational training with relevant further education
  • Good business management knowledge
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable technically oriented sales function in the casting sector (light metal casting)
  • Proven experience in leadership and coaching of employees (all genders)
  • Expertise in acquiring new customers and new projects as well as supporting and developing existing customers
  • Good knowledge of contract law and calculation of technical products
  • Experience working with OEM and TIER1 customers
  • Know-how in development and manufacturing of die-cast components
  • Participation in or initiation and management of innovative funding projects or process optimizations
  • Confident use of MS Office and ERP software
  • Fluent English skills in speaking and writing
