Job Profile

  • Technical, personnel, and organizational leadership of sand preparation and molding equipment while adhering to legal norms and guidelines
  • Responsibility for performance, quality, and economic efficiency indicators as well as employee motivation and development
  • Structuring, coordinating, and monitoring value streams – from technical conception to implementation
  • Continuous optimization of production costs, throughput times, productivity, and quality
  • Development and implementation of new technical concepts and innovation projects to ensure competitiveness
  • Analysis and control of relevant KPIs (e.g., productivity, output, quality)
  • Close cooperation with the foundry team, maintenance, quality management, logistics, and other interfaces

Candidate Profile

  • Completed degree in foundry technology or comparable university degree
  • Alternatively, completed foundry technical training with further education as master technician (m/f/d)
  • Several years of leadership experience in a foundry environment, ideally in group or department management
  • Solid knowledge in sand preparation and operation of molding equipment
  • Knowledge of current standards, guidelines, and occupational safety regulations in production environments
  • Expertise in process optimization, e.g., lean management methods, value stream analysis, and continuous improvement process (CIP)
  • Experience in personnel management and implementation of innovation and investment projects is desirable
  • Confident handling of MS Office and ERP systems
  • Very good German and English skills
