Job Profile

  • Development and continuous optimization of molds and tools for the production of die-cast components
  • Further development and standardization in the field of mold design
  • Support in the production-oriented design of components – already in the development and implementation phase in close coordination with the customer
  • Planning, coordination, and follow-up of project deadlines involving internal departments, production sites, customers, and external tool suppliers
  • Analysis of technical requirements and transfer into stable, efficient production processes
  • Technical support for sales in evaluating customer inquiries
  • Systematic risk analysis of products and development of measures to reduce risks, lower costs, and improve product quality
  • Use of mold filling and solidification simulations to identify optimization potential
  • Integration of new technologies and further development of technical expertise to strengthen market position

Candidate Profile

  • Completed degree in foundry engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, or comparable qualification
  • Solid knowledge of materials and process engineering in die casting
  • Experience in casting-compatible component design
  • Strong understanding of casting technologies, toolmaking (molds, stamping tools), and related peripherals
  • Ideally, experience in deburring technology and in designing casting tools
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working with process-oriented thinking
  • Practical experience with casting simulation software
  • Very good German language skills and good English skills, both spoken and written
