Job Profile

Development and continuous optimization of molds and tools for the production of die-cast components
Further development and standardization in the field of mold design
Support in the production-oriented design of components – already in the development and implementation phase in close coordination with the customer
Planning, coordination, and follow-up of project deadlines involving internal departments, production sites, customers, and external tool suppliers
Analysis of technical requirements and transfer into stable, efficient production processes
Technical support for sales in evaluating customer inquiries
Systematic risk analysis of products and development of measures to reduce risks, lower costs, and improve product quality
Use of mold filling and solidification simulations to identify optimization potential
Integration of new technologies and further development of technical expertise to strengthen market position

Candidate Profile

Completed degree in foundry engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, or comparable qualification
Solid knowledge of materials and process engineering in die casting
Experience in casting-compatible component design
Strong understanding of casting technologies, toolmaking (molds, stamping tools), and related peripherals
Ideally, experience in deburring technology and in designing casting tools
Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working with process-oriented thinking
Practical experience with casting simulation software
Very good German language skills and good English skills, both spoken and written
