Job Profile

  • Ensuring high machine and plant availability as well as flawless building technology, including continuous technical optimization according to the latest standards
  • Strategic development of the production site with a focus on future-oriented technology, automation, and digitalization in foundry and casting post-treatment
  • Management, control, and further training of employees according to the principles of effective leadership
  • Planning, calculating, and implementing investments in modern technologies, systems, and software, including overall project responsibility up to commissioning
  • Identifying and realizing rationalization potential, including initiating improvement measures with regard to economic efficiency, cost minimization, and process optimization
  • Implementing and continuously monitoring measures for rational energy use and energy contract design
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and internal regulations on occupational health and safety

Candidate Profile

  • Successfully completed engineering degree with a focus on mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, mechatronics, or similar
  • Alternatively, completed technical vocational training with appropriate further training
  • Several years of professional experience in a comparable management position or with comprehensive technical responsibility in a manufacturing company
  • Experience in goal-oriented and motivational employee management
  • In-depth knowledge of the planning and implementation of maintenance, servicing, and repair measures for production and manufacturing facilities as well as buildings
  • Knowledge of the strategic development of production sites in terms of Industry 4.0, automation, and digitalization
  • Experience in the planning and implementation of investment projects as well as in the application of modern methods of project and lean management
  • Familiarity with common safety precautions and accident prevention regulations
  • Very good German and English skills
