Job Profile

  • Overall responsibility for coordinating and managing all activities of the Quality Assurance department
  • Ensuring compliance with and further development of quality standards, norms, and internal processes
  • Optimizing product and process quality and supporting specialist departments in quality issues
  • Planning and managing quality and testing processes (defining testing methods, creating instructions, testing plans, etc.)
  • Responsibility for complaint management, effectiveness monitoring, and root cause analysis
  • Participation in the further development of the QMS
  • Conducting and following up on internal and external audits
  • Support in processing offers from a quality perspective
  • Leadership, motivation, and targeted further development of employees

Candidate Profile

  • Successfully completed degree in engineering, preferably specializing in foundry technology, materials engineering, or mechanical engineering
  • Alternatively, comparable completed technical vocational training with corresponding further training
  • Additional qualification as an auditor is an advantage
  • Several years of professional experience in an appropriate management position in quality assurance in the automotive industry, ideally in die casting
  • Strong leader with a hands-on mentality, creative drive, and assertiveness
  • Experience with quality management systems and standards such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5
  • Proficient in the use of common quality tools
  • Confident use of ERP systems and Microsoft Office
